Johnson Chapel — Elm City

Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have a black history service 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Roderick Tillery Sr. as speaker.

Shekinah Glory Church will have corporate prayer 10:30 a.m. Sunday and morning worship 11.

Greater Zion —Stantonsburg

Greater Zion Original Free Will Baptist Church will have quarterly meeting 10:45 a.m. Sunday followed by lunch. They are asking you to wear African attire in honor of Black History Month. An afternoon service will be held at 4 Sunday with Allen Smith along with Mincey Chapel Church as guest. Revival will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday with Darryl Loveitt from Palm Coast, Florida as guest speaker.
