Piney Groves

Piney Groves Free Will Baptist Church will have quarterly meeting with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 11 with the Rev. Robert Smith as speaker and music by the senior choir. Holy Communion will follow the morning service. Mid-week Bible study is 7 p.m. Wednesday, and prayer noon Thursday.

Barnes Chapel

Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and will be celebrating the 14th anniversary of the Rev. Steven E. Kent at 10:45 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. St. Luke will have Holy Communion at 6 p.m. Saturday. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m., and the 192nd church anniversary morning worship is at 11 with William Thomas. Lunch will be served. At 2:30, paster Alfonza King and Pleasant Grove of Lucama will render the service.

Wilson Chapel

Wilson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will have early morning service at 7:45 Sunday, Sunday school at 9:30 and morning worship at 10:45. At 4 p.m. the gospel choir will sponsor a musical program with different choirs. Monday is Bible study. Noonday prayer and 7 p.m. Bible study are on Wednesday.

Evening Light

Evening Light Holiness Church will have service at 11 a.m. with pastor Katie M. Farmer delivering the morning service and music by Evening Light Mass Choir. Hat service is at 4 p.m. with guest speaker Mona G. Sauls of Evening Light Mission of Prayer. Bible study is 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Patterson Chapel

Patterson Chapel Holiness Church will have fourth Sunday service at 11 a.m. with speaker Cardale Chaberlin of St. James in Morganton. Music will be presented by the St. James choir

Feel Free Church Ministries will have Sunday school at 9 a.m. and morning worship at 10 with the Rev. Anthony Cox as speaker. A ministers’ meeting will be held Tuesday at 5:45 p.m., and Bible study will be held at 7 p.m.

St. John AME Zion Church will have a “151 Women in White” event at 4 p.m. on Sunday for a pre-151st church anniversary program. All women are invited to go and wear white.

Repha Church

Repha Church of God will have Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 11:15 with Cassandra Darden delivering the message. On Thursday, prayer is at 6:30, and Bible study is at 7.

St. John

St. John Holiness Church in Black Creek will have homecoming at 11 a.m. with guest speaker the Rev. Henry Cox. Holy Temple Church and choir will render the service.

Freedom Ministries

Freedom Ministries of Wilson will have service on Sunday 10 a.m. Paddie Joyce Battle will be preaching. The Voices of Freedom sing. Bible study is Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Evening Light

Evening Light Soul Winning in Stantonsburg will have a musical service, “The Gospel Train,” today at 4 p.m. Dress casual.

Sunday School is at 10 a.m. Sunday morning worship is at 11 with the Rev. Shelia Artis.

Manna Bible Baptist

Manna Bible Baptist will have Sunday school at 9:45 and worship at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sellers Jenkins. Wednesday prayer meeting and Bible study begin at 7 p.m.

St. James Church of Christ – Fremont

St. James Church of Christ will have Sunday School at 9:45 and morning worship at 11 with speaker Tony Sutton and music by the St. James Gospel Choir. At 5 p.m., the church choir will celebrate its 66th anniversary.

Life in the Word

Life in the Word Ministry will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:45. Wednesday Bible study is at 7 p.m. with speaker the Rev. George Atkinson.

Mount Zion

Mount Zion Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, 810 Black Creek Road, Wilson, will have a rainbow tea today at 5 p.m. sponsored by the scholarship committee. There will be different speakers for each season.

Salisbury Church

Salisbury Church will have Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11.

Miracle Deliverance

Miracle Deliverance Center Church will have Sunday school is at 10 a.m. and a men’s day celebration at 11 a.m. with Billy Harris of St. Paul Black Creek delivering the message. Chester Lewis will speak on the men’s day address and St. Paul Male Chorus will have music. Bible study is Wednesday night at 7.
