Unitarian — Rocky Mount

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will have service 10 a.m. Sunday.

First Apostolic — Bailey

First Apostolic Church will have Sunday school at 10 a.m. and evening worship at 6 with the Rev. Preston Taylor as speaker. Bible study is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Restorative

Restorative Christian Ministries will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:30 with the Rev. Rita Batts as speaker. Bible study is 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Metropolitan — Rocky Mount

Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1213 Leggett Road, will have revival at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday with Cureton Johnson from First Baptist Church in Fayetteville as guest speaker.

Union Grove — Fremont

Union Grove Church will have service at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. James Lucas as speaker and music by the gospel choir.

Word of God — Zebulon

Word of God Holy Church will have a gospel singing at 3 p.m. Sunday featuring The Eaton Brothers of Louisburg, Spiritual Harmonettes of Zebulon, Pilgrim Travelers of Zebulon, Triangle Starlights of Raleigh, Heaven’s Echo, Living the Life of Faith of Zebulon and others. Admission is free; a love offering will be taken.

Melton Chapel

Melton Chapel Faith and Deliverance Ministry, 5366 Lindsey Road, Elm City, will have a marriage and single relationship seminar Saturday at 11 a.m. Guest speakers are Burnice and Teresia Burroughs, pastor and co-pastor of Transformation Empowerment Center of Raleigh. Barnes Chapel

Barnes Chapel will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and Easter morning worship at 10:45 with Pastor Steven E. Kent. On Wednesday, Bible study and devotion are at 6:45 p.m.

Destiny Ministries

Destiny Ministries in Fremont will have Easter service on Sunday at 10 a.m. with Beverly Ham.

Mount Zion

Mount Zion Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, 810 Black Creek Road, Wilson, will have spring revival, Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Curtis Artis from Anointed Word Ministry of Lucama will be the guest minister. Wednesday night the mother board will be in charge. Thursday night the choirs will be in charge, and Pleasant Grove Choir from Lucama will sing. Friday night deacons and trustee will be in charge. The Rev. Curtis Artis along with his choirs and church family will render the service on Friday night.

Mitchell Chapel Holiness

Sunrise service at Mitchell Chapel Holiness Church is Sunday at 6 a.m. with Thomas Williams, outreach pastor. At 11 a.m. the service will end the 19th pastor anniversary for Dorothy C. Lucas with pastor Larry Alston of Good Samaritan Church of Zebulon.

First Baptist Missionary Baptist

Elder Maurice Battle, youth pastor of Freedom Ministries of Wilson, will render a youth day service at First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church, 6211 E. Langley Road, Elm City, on Easter Sunday at 11 a.m. He will be accompanied by the Voices of Freedom.

St. Paul Church of Christ

St. Paul Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ will have Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and an Easter program during the

11 a.m. morning worship with the Rev. Chester L. Aycock as speaker. Music will be by the male chorus. Bible study is Tuesday at noon.

Bailey Baptist Church

Bailey Baptist Church, 6646 Deans St., will have its Easter “Sonrise” service 7 a.m. Sunday, followed by breakfast and the Easter message at the 10:45 a.m. worship service.

St. Rose Holy Church

St. Rose Holy Church in Sims will have Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. followed by worship service at 11. The Rev Otis Finch will be the speaker; music will be presented by the ladies’ chorus. Wednesday Bible study starts at 7 p.m.

St. James Church of Christ

St. James Church of Christ, 9573 N.C. 222, Middlesex, will have sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday with S. Wayne Holer, pastor.

Shekinah Glory Church

Shekinah Glory Church and Church of God for All People will have Easter Sunday services in Windsor, at 428 Mount Olive Road. Service will start with corporate prayer at 9:30 a.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning service at 11:15.

Calvary Baptist Church

Calvary Baptist Church, 704 Gay St., will have sunrise service at 9 a.m. with speaker the Rev. Andrew Jones.

Faith Temple Mission

Faith Temple Mission will have Sunday morning worship service starting at 11 and Bible study on Wednesday night at 7:30.

Temple of Praise

Temple of Praise, 2707-B Wooten Blvd., Wilson, will have a building fund service Saturday night at 7. Guest speaker will be Lorraine Isom, pastor of Power of Praise and Worship Ministry of Wilson.

Trinity Deliverance Church

Trinity Deliverance Church will have an Easter egg hunt in Stantonsburg Park Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday’s Easter sunrise service is at 6 a.m. followed by breakfast. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. followed by morning worship at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Carolyn Brown and music by the senior choir. Bible study is Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Zion Temple — Rocky Mount

Zion Temple Original Free Will Baptist Church in Rocky Mount will have Women’s Day and Easter service at 11 a.m. Evangelist Andrea Taylor from St. Paul will be speaking. Hour of prayer is at 8:15 and Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Faith Temple

Faith Temple UHC will have Sunday school at 9:45 and morning worship at 11 with speaker the Rev. Ernestine McGee and music by the gospel choir. Spring revival is Wednesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. Speaker will be the Rev. Ed Edwards from Salvation and Praise Full Gospel Church Ministries, Farmville. There will be guest choirs nightly.

Aenon Missionary Baptist

Aenon Missionary Baptist Church, 7502 Town Creek Road, Elm City, will have Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and

morning worship at 11 with the Rev. Ken Cobb.

Ward Boulevard

Ward Boulevard Church of Christ, 2977 Ward Blvd., will have Bible study at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, morning worship at 10:30 and evening service at 5. Wednesday evening service is at 7.

Wilson Chapel Free Will Baptist

Wilson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church will have early morning service Sunday at 7:45, Sunday school at 9:45 and morning worship and Easter skit at 10:45. Noonday prayer is Wednesday followed by Bible study at 7 p.m.

Simon Grove

Eloise Sessoms of St. John’s Apostolic Church in Black Creek will speak at Simon Grove Sunday at 10 a.m. for pastor anniversary service. Afterwards, the church will have an Easter egg hunt.

Damascus Road

Damascus Road Church, 1015 Reid St., will have Bible lesson at 9 a.m. Sunday followed by worship at 10 with the Rev. Ada R. Harris.

Willing Worker

Willing Worker Holiness Church, Lucama, will have Pastoral Day services at 11 a.m. with Nathanial Spells, pastor, and music by the church choir.

Grace Baptist

Grace Baptist Church, 202 N. Kincaid Ave., will have Sunday school at 9:45, worship service at 11 and Bible study at 6 p.m. On Wednesday, Bible study is at 6:30 p.m.

Mission of Faith Church, 714 Moore St., will celebrate Lorraine Horne’s 26th pastoral anniversary next week. Johnson Chapel

Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 317 Beauvue Road, Elm City, will have Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. The church Easter egg hunt is Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mary Grove

Mary Grove Missionary Baptist Church will have sunrise service at 6 a.m. Easter. Guest minister is Dr. John Wooten and choir from Higher Calling Baptist Church, Wilson.

Greater Zion

Greater Zion Original Free Will Baptist Church, Stantonsburg, will have prayer at noon Saturday. On Sunday, praise and worship is at 9:30 a.m. followed by Easter service at 10:45 with George A. Ward, elder.

New Macedonia

The Rev. Mable Finch will speak at New Macedonia’s 11 a.m. Sunday morning service. Bible study is Wednesday night at 7.

Rountree Missionary Baptist

Rountree Missionary Baptist Church will have spring revival Friday at 7 p.m. with Bishop Percell Cooper and Suggs Christian Church.

First John Holy

First John Holy Church will have Easter Sunday service at 11 a.m. Guest preacher is the Rev. Debbie Hayes and the senior choir from Rountree Missionary Baptist Church.

Burning Bush

Burning Bush Church will have Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. with speaker Donnie Daniels and music by the combined choir.

Holy Temple

Holy Temple Holiness Church will have Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. with the Rev. Henry Cox and the adult choir. Breakfast will be served.

Piney Groves

Piney Groves Free Will Baptist Church will have Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and morning service at 11 with the Rev. Robert Smith and music by the male chorus. The annual pew rally is Sunday at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Ernest Melton as guest speaker. An Easter egg hunt will be held Monday at noon. Prayer is Thursday noon.

Patterson Chapel

Patterson Chapel Holiness Church will have Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 with the Rev. Julius Hunter and music by the gospel choir.

City of Refuge

City of Refuge will have prayer at 9 a.m. Sunday followed by morning manna at 10 and morning worship at 11. Word, Faith and Power Bridging the Pulpit and Pew service is at 6 p.m. Prayer is Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. followed by Bible study at 7:30.

Faith Hope

Faith Hope Church, 513 S. Pender St., will welcome Steve Speight, pastor of Christ Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Macclesfield, and Medgar Bynum, pastor of The Fellowship Church, and their congregations for 11 a.m. Sunday morning service.

White Oak Pentecostal

Easter service will be held at White Oak Pentecostal Holiness Church Sunday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sherry Lucas delivering the message and music by the church choir.

First Missionary Baptist

First Missionary Baptist Church will hold Youth Day services Sunday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Maurice Battle from Freedom Ministries as guest preacher. At 4 p.m., the youth choir will also be celebrating its anniversary.

Life in the Word

Life in the Word Ministry will have Sunday morning service at 10:45 with speaker the Rev. George Atkinson.

Rocky Branch

Rocky Branch United Church of Christ, 5968 N.C. 581, Kenly, will have Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., and worship at 11 a.m. with interim pastor, the Rev. Cleno Harris. Bible study is every Tuesday from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Perry’s Temple

Perry’s Temple Original Free Will Baptist Church will have its quarterly meeting and Easter Sunday morning worship service at 10:45 a.m. with Bishop J.N. Perry and music by the mass choir.

Evening Light Mission

Evening Light Mission will have worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. George Speight.

Kairos

Kairos Church will have Community Day Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with an Easter egg hunt, games, food and music at 1003 Lodge St. Sunday service at 9 a.m. will feature
