WILMINGTON — In a showdown of North Carolina Christian School Association 2-A East Region unbeatens, visiting Wilson Christian Academy sduffered a 3-0 varsity boys soccer loss to host Wilmington Christian on Friday.

Wilmington posted a 1-0 halftime lead and struck for its last two goals in the final 10 minutes.

The Chargers were limited to four shots as compared to 18 for Wilmington.Sophomore Wilson Christian goalkeeper Harrison Parker was credited with eight saves.

Wilson Christian dipped to 4-1 in the region and to 6-6 overall.

The Chargers are home at 6 p.m. Tuesday against Raleigh Christian.
