CBA 0-2 in ECC after losing to Rose

GREENVILLE ­— Visiting C.B. Aycock managed just one singles win in Thursday’s 3-A/4-A Eastern Carolina Conference boys tennis match at J.H. Rose, losing 6-3 to the 4-A Rampants.

The 3-A Golden Falcons, now 1-4 overall and 0-2 in ECC play, got a 6-4, 6-1 victory from Jonas Creel at No. 4 singles. Creel teamed with Weston Hersey to take the No. 3 doubles match 8-6 while Nolan Casey-Sam Andrews prevailed 9-7 at No. 1 doubles for CBA.

The Falcons will host Hunt in a nonconference match Monday at 4 p.m.
