In a battle of 13-0 teams to decide the Tricounties Athletic Conference boys basketball championship Thursday, host Forest Hills missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer as Red Oak escaped with a 53-50 victory.

The South Division-champion Bucks were led by Davon Jones with 20 points while TyChaun Clay, whose corner 3-point attempt rimmed out, had 14 points. C.J. Joyner contributed 10 points.

Red Oak was the North Division champion.
