Church to hold fashion show

Suggs Temple Church located at 1602 Stantonsburg Road will have a blanket, throw and gently used coat giveaway 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

St. Paul Church of Christ, located at 4133 Frank Price Church Road, will have a fashion show at 2 p.m. Sunday by their Sunday school department. For more information, call Bessie Barnes at 252-291-0488.

Santa, Mrs. Claus visit health center

The Wilson Community Health Center is hosting a “Visit with Santa.” This is a photo opportunity for your children to have their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each child will receive a goody bag for visiting with Santa. Santa will be at Wilson Community Health Center, located at 303 Green St. E., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Business Expo

An African-American Business Expo will be held Jan. 15 at Greater Joy Baptist Church, 820 Nashville Road, Rocky Mount, following a service to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Various vendors with free samples and information will be available.
