Re: “Economy doesn’t mitigate Trump’s corruption, bullying,” by Dave Hager, Oct. 8:

Mr. Hager, I didn’t omit you from my writing. I didn’t find your writings worthy of a response. You call me a bully. That is the Democratic modus operandi. If everyone agrees with your thoughts and words, all is well. Those who disagree are homophobic bullies, racists or as “Hateful Hillary” proclaimed, a basket of “Deplorables.”

You then speak of my testosterone-charged military days. Wrong again — nothing to do with testosterone, rather downright unmitigated pride at the opportunity to serve our great country for 21 years as a Marine officer. What say you, Mr. Hager? Did you jump into the pit and join in the fray or were you too busy burning your draft card?

I don’t have to get pregnant to know it’s wrong to kill babies. You say let the women deal with it. Are you afraid to speak out against the wrongful death of babies? You want to ban assault rifles because in the wrong hands, they kill people. Then let’s ban alcohol because drunken drivers kill people and on and on. Check the stats, there are more people killed each year with knives, so let’s ban them and we can eat with forks and spoons — but watch those forks, they can be dangerous. A baseball bat in the wrong hands can be dangerous. Let’s get rid of baseball bats. Better yet, why not try to find a way to keep weapons out of the hands of those who shouldn’t have them?

You say conservatives need to protect their ability to blast off a few hundred rounds to restore their masculine juices. Does that mean Democrats don’t like to fire off a hundred rounds or you don’t have any masculine juices?

I do care for all people regardless of color. Speaking of racist, our Congressman G.K. Butterfield was chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus. Isn’t that racist? Did you see Trump the other night in Milwaukee? Truly great. Says it as it is. Did you see outside all the left-wing loonies throwing rocks at the police? You should be very proud. They are your people and they make the Democrats look really good.
