Sally Heddinger of Wilson celebrated her 90th birthday with her family.

She was given a birthday card surprise party and received more than 80 birthday cards from family, friends and church family.

Mrs. Heddinger worked for 16 years at Valley View Nursing Home in Baltimore. After retiring, the Heddingers moved to The Villages in Florida and lived there for 24 years. In 2014 the Heddingers moved to Wilson to be closer to their daughter and son-in-law.

Mrs. Heddinger enjoyed deadheading at the Wilson Rose Garden for two years.

Mrs. Heddinger is a member of Grace Baptist Church and was honored with her name on a “Grace” Ful 90s plaque.
