Wilson County considers merger
Wilson County commissioners are wrangling with the idea of merging the county's health and social services boards. Merging the boards would allow commissioners to play a role in decisions made in those departments. Commissioners decided to investigate the issue because of how much money the county has had to dole out to former health department employees who were given legal settlements from the county.
