Body surfaces in creek
The body of 23-year-old Courtney Ann Speight was found in Contentnea Creek in August a couple of days after her family reported her missing. Speight was in the process of ending the relationship with her boyfriend, Donald Ray Davis, 45, of Wilson. Wilson police charged Davis in August with first-degree murder.
