Wilson supports John McNeil
The Georgia Supreme Court is expected to decide in 2013 if Wilson native John McNeil will receive a new murder trial. A good deal of attention has been focused on McNeil's case in 2012. Family, friends and civil rights advocates in both states contend McNeil is wrongly imprisoned. McNeil was convicted in 2006 of shooting a man at his home. McNeil supporters contend it was a case of self defense.
