'Kiss my butt'
A verbal confrontation between Wilson County Manager Ellis Williford and Ron Williams, an animal advocate, in July led Williford to tell Williams to "kiss my butt." The two were talking about animal fees the county collects and Williams was questioning Williford about what he does on a personal level to help children. Williford refused to discuss his personal business with Williams.
