Sanderson Farms
In November, Sanderson Farms announced it was abandoning its plans to build a new chicken processing plant in Nash County. The city of Wilson, landowners in both counties and Nash County spent the better part of two years fighting over the potential plant and its possible effects on the environment and water supply.
